Skladon strengthens its management, the new logistics director is Martin Puncochar

Mosnov, August 20, 2025 – Fulfillment company Skladon has announced the recruitment of a new Chief Logistics Officer (CLO). Since August 2025, this position has been held by Martin Puncochar (33), who joins the company from Sportisimo, where he worked as logistics manager. At Skladon, he is now responsible for the strategic and operational management of the entire logistics department, setting up processes, and preparing for the upcoming logistics season. He replaces Max Kovar, who has managed Skladon’s logistics since 2019.
Extensive experience in logistics and leading large teams
Puncochar has more than ten years of experience in the field. He entered logistics at the beginning of his career, when he was involved in road transport. He gained further professional experience at DHL, where he worked in warehouse process management and team leadership. However, his most significant professional development came during his career at Sportisimo, where he held the position of Operational Logistics Manager. In this role, he led a team of up to 600 people and was responsible for the entire operation and management of the distribution center. He considers his greatest achievements to be managing record order volumes while maintaining a high level of SLA, setting up processes leading to increased efficiency and reduced error rates, and building a stable and independently functioning team even during the most demanding periods of the year.
Streamlining operations and digitization as key pillars of Skladon’s development
At Skladon, he wants to focus on stabilizing and streamlining everyday processes in the short term. He also plans to develop the digitization and automation of operational processes with the aim of increasing the flexibility and efficiency of the logistics department. His long-term vision is to consolidate Skladon’s position among the leading fulfillment providers in Central Europe and to strengthen the reliability and quality of services for clients.
“I am looking forward to a dynamic environment and a team of people who are eager to push the boundaries of logistics. The challenge for me is that Skladon is undergoing intensive changes – my role will be to steer it towards stable operations and long-term sustainable growth. I see this as an opportunity to use my experience and bring value at a time when decisions are being made about the company’s future development,” says Martin Puncochar, Skladon’s new chief logistics officer.
Besides his work, Puncochar is devoted to his family – he is a new father. In his spare time he enjoys working with wood, riding his motorcycle, hiking in the mountains and generally enjoying sports or active recreation.
