Skladon has appointed a new logistics director. Roman Gabco joins from within the company.

Mosnov, January 7, 2026 – Fulfillment company Skladon announces a personnel change in a key management position. Roman Gabco has been appointed as the new Chief Logistics Officer (CLO), building on his previous role as Head of Logistics Engineering. In his new role, he will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of logistics operations, their further development, and long-term performance. The main goal is to support the company’s further growth and improve the quality of fulfillment services provided to domestic and foreign clients.

Many years of experience across logistics operations in Czechia and abroad

Roman Gabčo has been involved in logistics since his studies, when he graduated in the field of logistics support for military units. During his professional career, he gradually gained experience in operational logistics, team management, and project management. He started his career at DHL, then worked in internal logistics in the automotive segment, where he focused on process optimization and logistics flow management.

A significant part of his career consists of several years working in the Middle East – in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. For TATRA TRUCKS, he built comprehensive logistics solutions, from warehouse design and layouts to process setup, master data implementation in ERP systems, and training of local teams. He participated in the implementation of Kanban, Milkrun, and JIS methods, coordinated production and planning, prepared customs documentation, and managed international transport.

After returning to the Czech Republic, he continued at Tatra as a project manager for a large-scale project focused on increasing the efficiency of production capacities. He then joined the Skladon team, where, as head of logistics engineering, he was responsible for the design and development of logistics solutions across fulfillment operations.

Stable operation, standardization, and data-driven logistics

In his new role, Roman Gabco wants to focus primarily on further standardizing processes, strengthening data support for decision-making, and closer cooperation between teams across the organization. The goal is logistics that are stable, efficient, sustainable in the long term, and at the same time allow Skladon and its clients to grow without unnecessary restrictions.

Family trips and relaxing moments with friends

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, for example traveling together. In his free time, he also enjoys a good cigar with friends, which for him represents a space for calm, informal conversation, and relaxation.
